Description: The cap of this small species is golden-brown in colour with a wrinkled surface and a slightly raised centre. The cap size is typically about 2 cm in diameter but can be up to 3.5 cm. The gills are pink with yellow tones. The stipe is yellow.
Abundance: Occasionally observed in the Mangemangeroa Reserve.

Cap surface distinctly wrinkled/reticulate, slightly raised in centre, golden brown 2 cm in diameter x 2.3 cm height. Gills free, pink with yellow tones. Stipe yellow, about 2.5 mm diam. with a slightly swollen base and white mycelial pad. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest on large fallen branch under a huge puriri and the wood is possibly puriri.

Fruit body yellow-tan with conspicuous wrinkling with raised ridges, 1.8 cm in diameter and 2.2 cm in height. Gill colour yellow-pink. Stipe yellow and not pruinose. On very rotten crumbling wood on forest floor. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.
