Pluteus observed in the Mangemangeroa Reserve - published as Pluteus hubregtseorum f. horakianus

Medium sized creamy light brown Pluteus on fallen rotting branch. One fruiting body with two tiny young ones near base. Cap 3 cm in diameter x 4 cm. height. Gills pink, concolorous. Stipe cream, 2.5 mm diameter. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

Medium to small sized light tan-brown Pluteus on fallen mahoe. Hemispherical cap, 1.8-3 cm in diameter x 3-4.5 cm height. Gills cream becoming pink. Stipe white with beige base, pruinose, 2.5 mm. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

Group of five medium sized fruit bodies, up to 4.5 cm in diameter, growing on fallen branch.
The cap is evenly covered all over with squamules, dark brown when young becoming lighter with age, with some wrinkling in the centre and striate on the margin of the cap. The gills are cream turning pink. The stipe is white-cream, pruinose, with tan-grey at the base of the stipe in older fruit bodies and 2-6 mm in diameter. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest

Pluteus with a convex cap covered with tan squamules, darker in the centre with some wrinkling in the centre. Gills cream turning pink with a concolorous gill edge. Stipe cream with tan at base and pruinose. Fruit body 3.5 cm in diameter and 4 cm in height.On fallen rotting branch in remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

The cap of this Pluteus is uniformly covered with brown squamules and has cream-pink gills with a concolorous gill margin and a creamy stipe with a light powdery covering (pruinose). The stipe becomes more yellow to tan with age. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

I observed this Pluteus on three separate occasions in this reserve today in very damp conditions. It has a small cap cap 19-20 mm in diameter and is 37-44 mm in height. The stipe is whitish and pruinose. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest

The cap of this Pluteus is evenly covered all over with squamules. It is dark brown when young becoming lighter with age with some wrinkling in the centre and striate on the margin of the cap. The gills are cream turning pink. The stipe is white-cream and pruinose. The larger of these two fruit bodies was 2.4 cm in diameter and 3.8 cm in height. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

This Pluteus was observed on the same fallen branches as https://inaturalist.nz/observations/1057325. The cap is tan-brown in colour with wrinkling in the centre. The gills are creamy turning distinctly pink. The stipe is yellow-cream and finely pruinose. Growing on dead fallen mahoe branches in remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.

This Pluteus was observed on the same fallen branches as https://inaturalist.nz/observations/1934733. This fruit body was 3.3 cm in diameter and 3.5 cm in height. The cap is evenly covered all over with dark brown squamules with some wrinkling in the centre and striate on the margin of the cap. The gills are cream turning pink. The stipe is white-cream and pruinose and 4 mm in diameter. Remnant mature coastal broadleaf forest.
