Limestone canyon trail
Appeared in my laundry room. After photographing, I opened the door, and it few out.
For identification of Leptoglossus zonatus, BugGuide (https://bugguide.net/node/view/56813) says, "Two yellowish spots on the forward part of the pronotum along with the small black spots interspersed within are distinctive. Also has a zigzagging white band across the wings (like some other species). Expansions of the hind tibiae are also much larger and more jagged than most other species." All those seem to fit this bug.

About 1.25 meters in diameter, and inflorescence about 12 feet tall. Growing on the ridge just W of the summit of Frankish Peak. Santa Ana Mountains visible through the smog in the distance.
Cousin saw this at school. Who is this?
