I have to confess surprise at seeing this, and several other associated, taxon swaps. The paper describing the new genera and combinations was only published this month and few people will have had time to find it, read it carefully and assess its content. None of the three new genera proposed are listed by either IPNI or POWO. Normal practice on iNaturalist would be to flag the existing taxa involved and initiate a discussion amongst interested participants prior to making a decision on whether to accept or reject the new taxonomy. This is especially important given the large number of observations affected by these changes.
