Learn about local birds at the Glendora Public Library.

The Glendora Public Library is hosting a talk on the birds of the San Gabriel Mountains and foothill communities from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 13.

The program will be held in the friends room at the library, 140 S. Glendora Ave. A conservancy wildlife biologist will talk about recent bird studies in the area and teach attendees how to talk to birds and provide food and shelter for them in your yards.

West Covina wants to know when you see coyotes in the city.

West Covina officials recently launched an interactive map that allows residents to report coyote sightings in their neighborhood.
