Class Magnoliopsida Journal Entry

I found these flowers next to a creek in Mill Valley. There is a trail behind the Mill Valley Public Library that I love to explore, and there are several different species on the banks of the creek. These flowers caught my eye with their beautiful color and their lovely spot next to the creek. The flowers were relatively small, and were growing next to a small tree. They would get a lot of sunlight for most of the day, but also at certain times they would get some shade from the many redwoods nearby.
