Malabar ricefish (Oryzias curvinotus) from brackish waters of Hong Kong
Once common in lowland streams, fields and reservoirs, the malabar ricefish is now rarely seen in Hong Kong. Decrease in populations are mainly due to invasion of exotic species, such as mosquitofish and guppies.
