I've gotten over that cough I've had for a month. Since it was warm outside, I went birding in Daingerfield State Park. Conditions for birding were tough---it was very windy. I found a lifer bird, the brown-headed nuthatch. Mondays are half-day at my job, so I'm going to try fishing the park tomorrow.
I think I this nice little park will be an area I focus on this year. I looked up the its checklist, and there are only 136 species, most of those posted by me. Hopefully, I will add fish species to its pokedex tomorrow. :-)

Yippee! Yeah, you are adding tremendous data to the state park, Crystal.
I’ll be watching that species list boost everytime you’re out there! :)

You rule, Crystal. :)
Glad you are better. Great to be outside.
You go, girl! Good luck fishing!
Aww, thanks! I didn't catch any fish today, but I'll try again on the weekend.
As Scarlett O'Hara in the classic novel "Gone With The Wind" declared:
"Tomorrow is another day"...
For us iNat addicts.... Tomorrow is always another day to observe, share and learn...
You are certainly an inspiration.
Hope to see you again in April in Del Rio???
Unfortunately, no. All four seals on my car's engine are severely leaking and I have to save up to fix it.
