Hi! I have been a native of San Francisco, CA for all my life (in high school). I have loved nature since I was 2 or 3, from frogs and toads, fish and salamanders and now tidepool life. I am especially fond of California's Shore Crabs (Pachygrapsus and Hemigrapsus). I am not a professional.

My favorite beach to tide pool is a small corner of Pacifica State Beach (in fact I added it as part of Google Maps so it could be more accessible).

Even though I live in California, I am also interested in native flora/fauna in other countries and states.

I'm currently filming a documentary on intertidal/forest life in the Pacific NW.
