I'm an amateur naturalist and writer with special interest in native prairie plants. I've done conservation/restoration work as a member volunteer for the The Prairie Enthusiasts, and Sauk Prairie Conservation Alliance. My wife Amy and I are deeply involved with prairie restoration at Moely Prairie in Prairie du Sac, WI. Moely is a 23.5-acre remnant of the original Sauk Prairie, which once encompassed over 14,000 acres. Moely is a sister prairie to Schluckebier Sand Prairie State Natural Area; both sites are managed by TPE.
