I studied ecology at university and am naturally drawn to the outdoors and conservation. The last two years I've mostly done bird watching in the Hunter (NSW) region in my spare time.

However, with the rise of smart phones I now also collect frog data (using the FrogID app) and have recently turned to butterflies and moths. Looking at the Atlas of Living Australia I noticed the observations/surveys in the Hunter region have been very light and thought one person could actually make a difference. So here I am.

If I follow you on here its because I could really do with help improving my identification skills.
