Born and raised in San Pedro/Rancho Palos Verdes, CA. I grew up roaming the tide pools and exploring the numerous canyons of the peninsula.
In 2003, I spent three months living in Cuenca, Ecuador, studying Orchids in-situ throughout the southern regions of the country. I then spent the next fourteen years living in Phoenix, AZ. Where I grew an affinity for Caudex forming plants native to dry desert regions. Now, I find myself back in Southern California...and ready to explore the flora and fauna of the region!
