I am an orthopedic hand surgeon by occupation, but have had a lifelong interest in plants and animals. I am a member of CNPS Yerba Buena chapter and am the Locally Rare chair for San Bruno Mountain. Along with Doug Allshouse, we have written a book, San Bruno Mountain: A guide to the flora and fauna, published November 2022 by Heyday Books.
