I have a strong interest in intertidal life. I wish I was a diver!
I live in suburbia near Vancouver, BC, Canada. I see birds, squirrels, raccoons and skunks in my backyard. I have native plants in my garden to provide food, shelter and space for wildlife.
Luckily, there are great wild places near me. I can visit mudflats and rocky shorelines of the Pacific Ocean, temperate rain forests with their rivers and streams, stunted forests of the sub-alpine and heather meadows of the alpine all within a couple hours of my doorstep.
