I'm a PhD Candidate in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. I study the causes and consequences of biodiversity loss in ecological communities, especially in North American birds, with a focus on conservation.

I completed my M.Sc. in Organismic & Evolutionary Biology at the University of Massachusetts–Amherst in 2021, where I worked on optimal sampling design for population surveys of snow leopards in Central Asia, emphasizing the value of local knowledge and integrating new statistical and algorithmic methods.

I graduated from Cornell University in 2019 with a B.Sc. in Environmental and Sustainability Sciences, where I spent most of my time studying bird communities at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.

In my free time I'm often birding or out trying to learn more about native orchids and other rare plants!
