I'm very much an amateur naturalist, just very interested and eager to learn more. So much just in my little area of Missouri to discover; and when traveling, iNaturalist is always a part of my trip (or most of my walks, to my spouse's frustration, who wants to keep moving). I'm hoping my plantings of natives at home is increasing or protecting the diversity of pollinators; they are mostly (aside from Bombus and Xylocopa) too fast for me to get good photos of, so it's been hard to ID all of the bees and flies!
