Despite slow cell reception, we were able to record 20 new species today at the natural area. Thank you for all the great pictures capturing some of the unusual species we were able to see.

Thank you all for posting all your observations for our Howell field trip. We have a total of 22 individual species and many individual observations for each species. I have downloaded a species list and posted it on the blackboard site for this course. However, I suggest you click on the "list" tab on our iNaturalist project to pull up a list of our trip with all the photographs. This will make a wonderful study guide as you are learning the species names. We will post observations again when we make our field trip to Twin Swamps Nature Preserve next Thursday.
