This large bird has a blueish grey hue to it's feathers that kind of resembles an ombre affect (going from a light grey to a dark blue). Large wingspan. This bird has a dark mowhawk looking patch on it's head. The eyes are a light yellowish color. The beak has a ombre affect going from grey at the base to blue at the tip. The legs are long and thin. Found this bird standing in the pond bobing its head in the water for food.

This medium sized bird has white markings on the black/dark grey feathers. The neck of this bird is long and grey, while its beak is a light orange color. It made some sort of hissing sound when i got to close trying to take its picture. Found it standing in a freshwater pond in the preserve part of my neighborhood.

This fern was found in a suburban wooded area. The weather was hot at 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The fern was near still water and there were multiple ferns in the same location.

right by my front door in a mostly shady/dappled sun zone, lol. looks a little like poison ivy but not sure. any guesses are welcome, im worried i have to pull it up so my dog doesnt get sick. literally all over my apartment complex
definitely poison ivy. alternating clusters of leaves, specific leaf shape, red stem. going to have to figure out how to remove it as it is growing 2 feet from my door
