Off side road, W. of bike trail, N. of the Nature Center. Fairly common.
Common in patches, esp. at the south end of the extended bike trail, So. of the Nature Center.
One male singing along dirt side road, west of main bike trail (S. of the junction of the two).

Female at start of Sunset Peak Trail. Both sexes very abundant all the way up mountain.
Male. Two in this spot of the summit; this was the fresher one.
Male. Large. One of two on the summit, this one was the fresher one. Both these and the indra were keeping to their respective small areas of the peak, chasing each other only, not coming into any contact with the other species.
This is not the first time I have found rudkini on Sunset; I first did nearly twenty years ago. I am sure they are breeding on the Tauschia, but for some reason they never fly down to the road to puddle or nectar the way the indra regularly do.

Approximately 10 of these lizards seen along 1.7 mi of trail in pine forest. Included two males, with much ventral and throat blue color, sparing and jumping toward each other, as they moved through the territory.
Two seen along trail, two spots, both nectaring on Western Wallflower. Hard to get clear photos.
