Found under a rock. Quite active despite the temps being close to freezing. Found another, smaller one, too. Both released unharmed where found.

This one is a where's wally. Nestled within the celmisia is a skink of a pretty decent size, svl palm sized... ish. It scattered pretty quickly. Pale grey colour on dorsal surface and a dark brown horizontal stripe.
Small skink approx 4cm snout to vent length, sunbathing in grass then climbed a small shrub when I accidentally spooked it.
Skink seen sunbathing in dry grass. Had quite pronounced scales on it's back. Approx 6cm snout vent length
