One of the wild roses, but I am not sure exactly which one.
Near stream running along side of barnyard. It is wild.
The dog rose has 5 petals, 5 sepals, and numerous stamen. It is a shrub with compound, alternate leaves. It has a pollination syndrome that is myophily/sapromyophily which is fly pollinated. This specimen was found in the middle of a pasture.
