On a dead of arbutus unedo
Growing on the ground, about 5cm in height.
Relatively common in the area.
Found before. There are dozens of them in an area of 16 mts long, along a path. Under hardwoods; among moss. In clumps and also solitary. Fruitbody is chunky. One measured 6 cm long and 2.5 cm wide on the head. Stem has some kind of ornamentation. The head kind of looks like a giant raisin. Micro here:https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/199135444

Still fruiting after few weeks or perhaps the clubs last for a long time. Micro will come. Club examined was 5.5 cm long (whole). There is a difference between texture of cap and stem. It may grow alone or in clumps. Among moss; on path, edge of path and inwards.
