A few mature trees at edge of swamp forest spotted fruiting. Not sure if they are cultivated or remnants of the edge of the forest. Quite a sight to behold. The fruits kept me entertained for a while as I kept on throwing them into the air, watching the wings of the fruit spin momentarily before landing on the ground.
One has to crack open the small fruit before extracting the smaller kidney-shaped seed. Sap is white, infamous for causing dermatitis when in contact with the skin; turns blackish after prolonged contact with the air.
