This is a downy phlox, recognizable by its fine hair. It was just behind SCH. It seems to grow in a clump about 1 foot high and wide. Key 542 in Newcomb’s. Opposite, entire leaves as well, with 5 regular flower parts all growing together to form a flat top.
This is a mouse chickweed. Very small white flower. Regular flower type with 5 parts. Opposite leaves growing in pairs. Stems and leaves are fuzzy, and the petals all have notches. Key 542 in newcombs. Growing all over the ground outside SCH.
