This juvenile Southern Pacific Rattlesnake was in a puddle on the Santiago Creek Trail on a hot day. When it saw us, it slithered into the brush. Its rattle was small.

These male Mallards were in the Santiago Creek.
This large Grasshopper was on the Willows Trail.
This Acorn Woodpecker was high in a tree. It didn't seem to mind a nearby White-tailed Kite.
