Growing on a log in the (now muddy) littoral zone of a forest pond.
This plant was found in the Tennant Lake wetland area.
Shores of ponds, lakes, backwater channels and meadows at low elevations, often where disturbed. Annual, nearly glabrous throughout. Leaves with petioles 1-6cm long, pinnately compound. Flower heads without rays, the disk about 1cm wide. Outer involucral bracts green and leafy surpassing the orange disk.
