Green Heron Getting Ready to Fish With the Technique Called Tongue Flicking
At the time I did not know why this heron kept sticking it's tongue out and then putting it in the water but I had a pretty good guess. Researched and found out green herons use a technique called tongue flicking where they wiggle their tongue right at or slightly below the water to entice fish.
