Very active adult frog (hid when I disturbed the fluffy orange sediments with stream thermometer). This portal in an embankment is a strong stream of cold (9 degree C) clear water coming from underground, in an area of former coal mines.

Took side trail to the west of Klondike Marsh. Heavily shaded and wooded. This adult was pretty far from water in forest.

12 tadpoles in roadside ditch along Clay Pit Rd, near Sky Country Parking lot. One tadpole has red spot (lighter spot) on head. Head color is reddish brown. Tail clear with spots. Tadpoles are about 2 cm. long, with head and tail equal length.
