This is the only time I've ever seen one of these rare fish in situ with an ROV.
A giant wrymouth peers from its burrow in the stiff mud substrate off the mouth of the Fraser River. These elongate fish reach 123 cm in length. The burrow entrances can be quite large, up to 25 cm in diameter. They are usually found at depths of 20 m and deeper.
