Near base of black spruce snag. Other trees nearby: balsam fir, white pine seedling, red maple. Specimen stem completely wound in with moss stem.
Only one in crook of red maple. Balsam fir seedling growing on ground right beside it. Cedar seedling nearby.
Either side of woods trail, in large clusters. Gregarious. Saw 12 clusters/loose groups in immediate area. Trees nearby: balsam fir, red maple, yellow birch, white birch, black spruce.
This part of trail was mainly coniferous. Single mushroom in moss near base of large white cedar and small balsam fir. Black spruce also nearby. Pores were a faint pinkish colour, netting on stem.
In mixed forest, growing out of decaying matter/mushroom.
I have no idea what these are. Growing in conifer detritus.
Always the possibility of Typhula too. Growing in conifer detritus close to some Ramariopsis.
Cluster on leaf, moss duff, appears to be on decomposing yellow birch.
