Sorry for the blurry picture, definitely a wren though based off of the vocals

I don't believe this is a ringneck pheasant, the coloration is wrong. He has a very green chest, not the rusty red of ring neck. I'm wondering if it is a hybrid of a green pheasant and the ring neck? I think it may have been someone's pet, he is not very skittish. We are enjoying having him around. He hangs out under the bird feeder and we've been throwing him cracked corn.
The bird was found by itself within a group of woodland ducks at a pond. It has dark spots on its chest similar to a dalmatian's spots. A gentleman stated that he thinks it's native to Texas.
