Seen while conducting plant monitoring with Steve Woodmansee in Hole-in-the-Donut restoration area 2004. We had worked up on the mounds and had time to do a monitoring plot before heading home.

This plant was about the size of my hand. It was purple and green. And it was growing out in the open with other plants.
