A 24cm long plant, with two x 8cm long grass like leaves. Flowers are 2cm long, with 2 to 3 flowers per plant.
Other known populations of bee orchids in the Shire have long since finished flowering.
A good sized population of these bee orchids were found scattered and in small loose groups, under malelueca and tea tree shrubs, interspersed with bare areas covered in everlastings or rushes.
This is a winter wet area, often too wet to enter until later in the year.
Very tall flower stem, compared to other obs of the same species.
