Dark so I couldn't clearly identify. When I walked within a 100 feet, it made a barking sound and began slowly advancing. I hurriedly backed away and it stopped till after a minute it ran off. Probably just a noisy feral cat but foxes have been seen in the area as well. Not sure if that helps any 😅
Out of the corner of my eye, caught this brown furred critter scurrying to the waters edge. Appears to be a rat, though My first impression was that it was something larger than a rat.
Leucistic(?) adult male eastern wolf, captured and fitted with a GPS collar as part of a home range and predation study.
They have started sitting on this camera more often. The nest, where we think they have chicks, is directly below it.
my best guess, given the skin in there? Reminded me of a porcupine foot pad.... ???
