Literally yesterday I posted we had not seen any rabbit or hare since last year, and this morning, one visited. It still has faint white patches on his body, our last significant snow was 37 days ago.
Locals call these jackrabbits, especially the ones with long ears, but there are no jackrabbits here. (although male snowshoe hares are called jacks)

This is a fox. Big misidentification. Also identified it as a Mallard Duck.
Living in the forest garden. Right after I took these I saw a mouse run across the path into the vegetation near the weasel, and then I heard a squeak.
Not 100% on this ID, but it struck me as a new plant, and this species would be new to me so...
