Transient killer whale population. T099B on left.
This was by far the best sighting of orcas I think I’ll ever have! There were four T099s came INCREDIBLY close to shore, probably about one foot from the rocks where I was filming. They swam within touching distance and put on a show, with many tail flips, spy hops, and fast surfaces. WOW. Absolutely amazing!
T099 orca pod came very close to shore and crashed a wedding at Glencoe Cove! Very interesting sighting, close to shore, and enjoyable all together. At least 10 whale watching boats in pursuit.
Amazing encounter with some Humpbacks. The photos uploaded are of an individual exhibiting some tail slaps followed by lunge feeding behaviour, which was amazing to see, and previous to that we were in amongst a group of 5 or so (albeit very spread out) whales, some of whom were diving g down, but some of whom were lunge feeding too.
