Just one clonal plant with two stems. There must be others around if it was pollinated, right??
I was surprised to find the pogonias more abundant along other parts of the shore than on the floating sphagnum mat where they’ve previously been observed
I thought these few plants on a log were worth documenting. I didn’t see any individuals among the grasses in the foreground. There were several large populations along the lake edge though.
