Phacelia glandulifera is a common native annual forb in this area and that persists with fleshy leaves into middle summer even though the leaves turn mostly dark in color. This site lies in the Wyoming big sagebrush steppe of the Idaho National Laboratory, on a sandy swale, east of Lincoln Blvd and north of the Shell Road junction, Butte County, Idaho.
