In Holocene dune sand overlying calcarenite and Enon conglomerate.
Feels round, no segments, green stem up to 25cm, in backdunes sand, single 'inflorescence' head per stem, in small bunches up to 12 in this location, quite rigid stem almost 1mm, heads small ca. 3mm x 8mm

Maybe? Thick (almost succulent) leaves grows in shade, scarce in this area. So I planted a few leaves' worth of length and it made little globe-shaped bulbs from where the leaf nodes are. Adding pics.

Blueish grass sometimes with reddish margin, ca. 25-30cm with 4-forked inflorescence. Limestone, not sure at all about ID, so many lookalikes with this digited flowerhead
