First time seeing female, I'm very happy. I've seen this like 4 times but all male. This was seen in my bathroom. I was going to take poop but then I noticed this beauty and ran to my phone.
There were four of them. I could only see two of them clearly. They were of the same size as a dog. Found late in the evening. Sound sample is also included.
A Pair of Yellow throated bulbuls spotted along with some white browed bulbuls...Was excited to see these after knowing that these birds are in the IUCN list of vulnerable species.
Discovered the melanistic flamingo in a salt pond north of Eilat, Israel slightly west of the Aqaba, Jordan airport.
Same individual as https://www.inaturalist.org/observations/221503370. Released her in the beetel plant.
Bringing male and female together took nearly an hour..... They first sat facing each other male didint hold its feeling ran towords female, female changed its position instead, like other males this smodicinus male makes dancing moves to attract female, size of male is smaller than female
Found this during my noon walk..it was casually moving on wild plant. The morph looks entirely different. Needed more clarity on ID.
Extremely peculiar situation. Juvenile elephant seal off the beach at Midigama. The only documented sighting of a seal in Sri Lankan waters ever. Sorry for the picture quality. The navy and wildlife department are monitoring the situation.
Probable stowaway on coconut. Maybe waiting for turtle or some marine creature to thrive and hitchhike.

Oecobius preying on a caught Myrmaplata plataleoides. The ant-mimic spider is dead here.
I was going out to buy some idli today, I didn't expect to see this
This species is usually in white in colour, but there seems to be another species which is undescribed from this genus which is red and black, which is the one I saw today.
This species seems to be way more rare then the white variant that is usually found, i honestly didnt expect to see this, i only see observations of this species in campuses like GKVK or iisc, not my home.
It was predating on a Polypedates tree frog as seen in the photo. Infrequent movements of the chelicerae were observed. The spider couldn't take the prey back into its tree hole as it was too big.
I am really surprised at the degree to which these amazing spiders mimic its prey. Just look at those colors..!!!
A very delicate little Crab seen in fresh water streams
Abdomen of Chrysilla volupe collected by me from a Spider Web, im not sure how another spider managed to catch a jumping spider, especially Chrysilla volupe. I will preserve this.
