Found in our sweet cherry tree in the garden. In the immediate vicinity is a conifer.
Unknown nudibranch; very similar to Montipora eating nudibranch Phestilla subodiosa. These snails were found in large numbers in a private aquarium in Germany on an Alveopora sp. coral. Phestilla sp. have completely eaten the Alveopora sp down to the remaining coral skeleton.
The affected one is the Alveopora sp in the middle of the photo between the two fish.
We do not yet know of a nudibranch that eats Alveopora.
Note: Now not only Alveopora coral has been eaten empty, but also Montipora corals.
