Favoritos de psammo

Eight farmworkers (Eldrige Jantjies, Zandre Jantjies, Ryno Stoffels, Henrico Bergman, Dylinn Volmink, Ulrich Snyman, Johenzlo Jafta and Danny Rooi) who were very kindly sponsored by two local farmers Ben Kotzé and Estelle du Plessis worked with myself anf Hugh Sussens. The team did well to clear approximately 2 ha, of which approximately 0.7 ha was highly infested and the remaining 1.3 ha moderately infested.

A 20 ha fynbos area on a moderately steep ridge with a low density of hakea.

Hakea plants which had been cut off much too high (leaving some branches with leaves) in a previous clearing operation were noted.
