Descripción

Fruiting sporadically in soil at a 2 year old burn site amidst charred woody debris/charred ashy mud.
Dry cap(not at all viscid). Dry metallic caps at maturity. Gills slightly decurrent.
Harvested 3 specimens.
Removed a single gill and mounted on glass slide in Lugol’s solution and a drop of 3% KOH.
MICROSCOPY:
Spores: subglobose, globose, slightly roughened. Medium sized.
Basidia: 4 sterigmate.
Cystidia: frequent, small/delicate, clavate to slightly irregular.
Lamellar Trama: side laying in wide sections, septate, clamped.
Dehydrating all specimens for herbarium collection/genetic record.

Descripción

Single mature fruiting in mostly Alnus rubra dominant canopy(cedar/Doug fir/Hemlock intermixed).
Harvested specimen.
Spore printed cap directly on a glass slide and mounted print in KOH for microscopy.
Spore print: White.
Spores: smooth, almond shaped/ellipsoid with large germ pore(see images of my work included in observation). Spores pale yellowish in KOH.
Thoroughly dried specimen and bagged for herbarium collection/genetic record.
