The beach had quite a different pattern of "sand-in" and "sand-out". The main washup was weed, only at the eastern end. This crab (about 5-6cms long) was the most interesting thing I saw. Nothing "blue".

Steamy today in Los Angeles... even the morning was too hot for most critters, including me. The attitude of this amazing Fox Squirrel, who hung out with me, above my picnic table, says it all!
