Maybe some sort of Schinia-like flower moth?
@euproserpinus this was just above the field where I ran into you and Megan. I think Trifolium might be T. grayii?

The Western Gulls were hauling them out of the 'eel grass', and eating them! Not sure there's enough visible to ID them, though.
