this is obviously a mimetic species. i was shocked when i examined the photo to see how closely the animal resembled a cut leaf.

Observed at The Enchanted Forest. This is a Brevard County Park that is located next to an airport - this location and the noise from low flying aircraft limits the occurrence of most animal species. Perhaps a Small White (pieris rapae).
