San Diego City Nature Challenge 2019

Thank you to everyone who contributed observations from within Mission Trails Regional Park during the City Nature Challenge. This year, over 3,500 observations (up from 1,992 in 2018) were added to the MTRP Biodiversity Project during the CNC by 108 observers (up from 101 observers in 2018). The total number of species reported in MTRP during the CNC was 665 in 2019 (430 in 2018). San Diego came in 3rd worldwide for number of observations this year and the 3,500 made in MTRP were almost 10% of the total for SD county! Way to go MTRP'ers!
