The Corte Madera Ecological Preserve is tucked into the Corte Madera Marsh Ecological Reserve, CA, US. The latter is still primary wetlands (and includes areas under water.) The CMEP is Golden Gate Transit land, and, for native plant lovers like me, is sadly full of invasives like pampas grass, fennel, and a variety of mustards. However, the more I walk there, the more I see the subtle beauties, and enjoy the many birds, and figure it is worth exploring. The Audubon Society is working on parcels to the north (the small square on the map, I assume.) GGT is taking steps to work on the invasives, goat weeding being the primary as far as I can see. I'd love to have more information if anyone is knowledgeable about it.
