It's time to identify!

The results are still rolling in. Any observations from the City Nature Challenge period can still be uploaded to iNaturalist. Please get your observations in before Friday (earlier is better). Now's the time to identify what we've seen. Anyone from anywhere can help identify observations.

Sometimes to get an observation on the right person's radar, it helps to add that observation to projects that it would fit into. For instance, upload your moth observations to the Moths of North America! project so that some of the experts there have a good shot of seeing them. Add your caterpillar observations to the Caterpillars of Eastern North America project. I'm sure there are many other projects worth adding your observations to.

Anyway, we did really well with over 2,200 observations and over 840 species, with probably more to come! The final results will be announced Friday, but you can stay up to date by watching the City Nature Challenge leaderboard.
