September 10 saw the soft launch of a new app for IOS, iNaturalist Next. The enw app addresses a number of issues on the iphone app, and Thomas Mesaglio recommends it as a significant improvement, even though it is still in testing mode.

The 2024 field symposium of the NSW Linnean Society will focus the South Coast of NSW and NE Victoria. Spectacular coastal outcrops amd unique botanical diversity characterise this region.

Thi year's AGM will feature 2 presentations:

• South Coast Rainforest - Kevin Mills, botanist and auhtor (30 mins)
• Habitat for Wildlife - Jan Raborsek, Treading Lightly Inc (10 mins)

All are welcome to come to the presentations starting at 10am, Tues 8 October at Ulladulla Civic Centre. Official AGM proceedings start at 11am, and are optional. Registration is essential.
